Okay, So I started a prismacolor drawing that I think is turning out pretty well. With luck, I'll finish it within the next couple of days. I don't want to say too much, but it's a pic of a young couple doomed to a horrid fate. So I drew the couple kissing, with white gingers in the foreground. I wanted to have blood dripping from the gingers to send the message that danger is coming, but my mom saw me coloring and said: "oh, how romantic, I like it." I told her about my intentions to add blood, and she insisted that I keep it blood-free. So, the question is:

Should I add the blood for my own tastes, or should I keep it sweet for my mom?

It sounds easy enough, but before you answer, please really put yourself in my shoes. I don't really draw a lot of "sweet" things that she adores. Please help me out here, don't know if i should bloody it up or not...thanks, amigos.
