We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. I like how the hand came out too. :]
Anyway, the shading is fantastic!
You worked the eraser, I can tell.
Though, I think some areas could be darker,
But I'll blame it on your scanner.
And I think if you're doing realism type, it would look better if you used a slightly rounder chin opposed to a pointy one.
Also, her arm should be longer. Like... slightly.
The way I proportion mines is 1 and a half face to an arm.
I hope they were of some help.
You did a good job otherwise.
