Okay, So I started a prismacolor drawing that I think is turning out pretty well. With luck, I'll finish it within the next couple of days. I don't want to say too much, but it's a pic of a young couple doomed to a horrid fate. So I drew the couple kissing, with white gingers in the foreground. I wanted to have blood dripping from the gingers to send the message that danger is coming, but my mom saw me coloring and said: "oh, how romantic, I like it." I told her about my intentions to add blood, and she insisted that I keep it blood-free. So, the question is:

Should I add the blood for my own tastes, or should I keep it sweet for my mom?

It sounds easy enough, but before you answer, please really put yourself in my shoes. I don't really draw a lot of "sweet" things that she adores. Please help me out here, don't know if i should bloody it up or not...thanks, amigos.

Dang, I'm sitting here in my prom dress and make up and just waiting for my ride to come pick me up (he'll be here in about half an hour). I feel so out of place in formal wear and so nervous I don't even know why. It's raining, I keep flinching when I hear a car come near...goodness, he better get here soon.

Tonight's going to be fun, no doubt, but for some reason I'm nervous as hell. Probably just going to sit here typing gibberish till he gets here...Oh, I spent about two hours sitting and talking to this really cool hair dresser, so my hair looks pretty nice. Maybe I'll ask someone to photograph it. Only about twenty more minutes till he's supposed to be here.

We're going up to the Volcano house, so it should look nice. Oh, shit, I gotta find a jacket. Looks like i'm getting off earlier than planned, lol.
